K-Mart has done it again with another brilliant commercial --- "Big Gas Savings". These have to be the funniest commercials I've seen in a LONG TIME!
In case you missed the first commercial, here it is! "Ship My Pants"

Its beach season! And to go along with the beach, Flipsidez has created a new kind of customized flip-flops! These flip-flops leave custom imprints in the sand allowing you to leave little messages behind as you walk along the beach. I don’t know about you, but I love this idea! What would your flip-flops say?

In 1955 Housekeeping Monthly ran an article on how to be a “good wife”. According to the article, all wives should:
Prepare yourself. Take 15 minutes to rest so you'll be refreshed when he arrives. Touch up your make-up, put a ribbon in your hair and be fresh-looking. He has just been with a lot of work-weary people.
Gather up schoolbooks, toys, paper etc. and then run a dustcloth over tables.
Make him [the MAN, aka husband] comfortable. Have him lean back in a comfortable chair or have him lie down in the bedroom. Have a cool or warm drink ready for him.
Arrange his pillow and offer to take off his shoes. Speak in a low, soothing and pleasant voice.
Your goal: Try to make sure your home is a place of peace, order and tranquility where your husband can renew himself in body and spirit.
Be a little gay and a little more interesting for him. His boring day may need a lift and one of your duties is to provide it.
Don't complain if he's late for dinner or even if he stays out all night. Count this as minor compared to what he might have gone through at work.
Don't ask him questions about his actions or question his judgment or integrity. Remember, he is the master of the house and as such will always exercise his will with fairness and truthfulness. You have no right to question him.
And please always remember that “a good wife always knows her place.” (J-Walk)
So what do you think?? I think we should bring these guidelines back!!
Take notes honey!! :)
