GOOD NEWS: Sorority Girls Save “Last Dance” For WWII Vet

Members of the Phi Mu sorority at the University of Southern Mississippi recently helped make a 92-year-old World War II Navy veteran’s dream come true. Paul Sonnier recently told a social work intern that his final wish would be “to dance with a beautiful woman,” and she shared that with her sorority sisters and they decided to make it happen.

The college women organized a dance in Sonnier’s honor and since he’s bedridden, they brought the dance to him.And while he couldn’t get up and cut a rug with the lovely ladies there to celebrate with him, the vet says he did appreciate the gesture. Adding, “It feels so good to be with all these beautiful women.”
