Kids and adults alike are invited to dress up like their favorite superhero to help children involved in child abuse investigations. For the 4th year in a row, the Child Abuse Network (CAN) is hosting the CAN Superhero Challenge with presenting sponsors AAON and Quiktrip.

"There are two obstacle courses set up to make sure everyone can join in the fun: a 1 mile course for runners 8 years and over and a 1/2 mile course for kids 7 years and under. Many families take part as a team and cheer each other on along the route. Different heats are ran at staggered times so the course does not get overloaded.
There will be fun and games available at the Fun Zone for all of the Superheroes including inflatables, photo opportunities, face painting, food and more!
Online registration is $20 per individual for either course. Heats will begin at 1:00pm and run about every 15 minutes. Participants must register online to secure a specific race time. Online registration is available thru March 29 at www.childabusenetwork.org. Those that register online before March 8 are guaranteed a Superhero Challenge T-shirt.
There will be a $500 cash award to the school with the most participation in either challenge. Participants must acknowledge their school on the registration form to be eligible for the prize money. CAN will notify the winning school."
