A group called Swing Bomb SF has hung 50 swings from trees and structures around San Francisco, and people are having fun reconnecting with their inner child all over town. On the mysterious organization’s Instagram bio, they reveal their goal is to turn San Francisco into a “pop-up playground.”
The swings appeared in areas like Lombard Street, the Embarcadero, and the Tenderloin district, and the only indication of where they came from is that they have the hashtag #SwingBombSF on the bottom of each swing. Kids of all ages have been stopping to sit and have fun on the swings and until the San Francisco Recreation and Parks department takes them down, they can keep spreading happiness.
